In comparison to the previous two weeks, this week has been rather easy. Despite my lack of experience in audio production, I felt confident in completing the assignments. Rather of seeing stories, I preferred to listen to them. I was given the flexibility to envisage things and imagine when and where the story would take place. This week, I learned a lot of new things and feel like I accomplished a lot.
There were a few snags, but they weren’t major obstacles. Given my lack of knowledge with Audacity or other audio platforms, the assignments took a long time to complete. But, on the whole, I think it was a decent week that was less stressful.
The following are the assignments that I did this week:
Reflection on Ira Glass’s & Jad Abumrad
Audio Assignments:
I also kind of felt like the audio assignments were easier than expected, which was a relief. I had some minor experience with editing audio from some of the guitar recordings I’ve done, but I thought I would struggle this week with storytelling. I’m glad you you and I both were able to enjoy these assignments rather than being stressed out about learning Audacity.
